Finally Week 7

Hello there! I have a very very productive last week by completed 2 weeks project spreads and 2 12x12 layouts. How awesome is that? I have a few good news to share you before showing you my Project Life spread.

My layout was a featured project in Two Peas on last friday. I was literally doing *happy lion dance* (just because it was still Chinese New Year) after being informed by my awesome Instagram friend - Evelyn. It has over 6500 views as of today.

Then I also have another layout that I made a while ago (inspired by Wilna's video again) featured on TwoPeas blog.

And I also won a spot from Wilna Furstenberg's Art Class at TwoPeas right? So I have been indulging all the great news from TwoPeas last week! I have been spending a few nights watching all the video tutorials from her Art Class and I tell you.... it's AWESOME and super duper worth your USD25!! A lot of videos to show you how she created her beautiful pages, pages from guest DT, PDF and also a lot of cut files! I have drafted a few sketches and ideas on my planners after watching those videos. Once I am done doing laundry and bathing my dogs I will start creating again.

Alright, enough of my ramblings and here's the title card I made for Week 7.
Using a lot of Pretty Little Studio - Sand Castle here. Loving the soft pastel color scheme. And I have realized I mostly use Thickers for my Project Life title card now. Not so much on my layouts or mini albums though.

As usual, I am working with my Blue - Pink - Yellow scheme. And pretty much stick to this color scheme for this week spread.

It was Chinese New Year so as usual, a lot of gatherings, dinners, meeting-ups and catching-ups over the week. I am so blessed to have so many lovely family members and friends celebrating New Year with me.

Then we came back to Singapore and we were on our own. Celebrating our last couplehood - Valentine's day together. So I use some Crate Paper Fourteen collection for this page. And as usual, I would need to include a picture of my baby bump to record my pregnancy journey.

I have received a few comments asking on how I do the flip-flap pockets to store my extra photos which is inspired by Scrappin Love. There isn't any rocket science here. I just use my well-loved washi tapes to tape the extra journalling card. So most of my flip-flaps are on the right page as the opening of the pockets to slot in the cards is always on the right.

Sometimes the extra card is just a single sided paper

Some of the pockets are double sided flips so I can store at least 2 more photos.

Hiding some of the food pictures with the flaps! I do not want my project life to look like a restaurant menu with tonnes of food and drinks photos.

Okie dokie, That's all for my Week 7 spread and I gotta catch up on my Week 8 real soon. Thanks for looking and I hope you have an awesome week ahead! XoXo.
