Yesterday was 31st August. Happy National Day to all Malaysians! And happy 5-month-old to my precious! Sorry for being biased but I seriously think he is the cutest! and looks like he is teething real soon + our pediatrician said we could start feeding him semi-solid in 2 weeks time. So exciting right?
P.S. why is he in pink diaper? Who says boys can't wear hot pink? The hot pink diaper is in a pack of 6, so hot pink is one of them. I think he rocks pink though ;)
Celebrating his 5-month-old with a new hairs cut i.e. shaving him bald like Vin Diesel. He didn't cry at all during the hair cut (okay, maybe just 3 seconds) and I am so dang proud of him! Call me a weird mommy but I love his newly shaved look a lot!
And here's our weekly hold-baby-with-one-arm photo in our new walk-in wardrobe. Sorry for the grainy photo, the lighting is just not right.
It's September now means I have a layout up on Write.Click.Scrapbook gallery. And this month theme is palette-able. Check out the gallery here. This is the color scheme that inspired me to do the layout below. I am in love with yellow recently...
And here's the layout. Just a simple layout that I stitched three pieces of patterned papers together. I picked this doilies paper because it looks like cloud pattern and matches the sunshine in Ivan's bib so well. I think I printed 4 copies of this photo because I like it so much that I have planned to scrap it again and again. Do you normally scrap the same photo more than once?
Close up of the layouts:
The title: Wherever we are together that is home is one of the quote I found from Kikki.K Love quote book. Love this title so much as our little family (just 3 of us) stays in Singapore while all our other family are in Malaysia. Even though I have just relocated to Singapore for less than 2 years, I still love to called Singapore our home. Simply because I love our nice cosy house, I have gotten so many friends here, and I would definitely call any place our home as long as we are together.
My favorite technique : white wash / tone down the embellishments with Distress Paint in Picket Fence. Love it!
By the way, remember to hop over to Write.Click.Scrapbook to check out the other Palette-able layouts by other ladies. Do leave me some love there! And back here I am so sleep deprived now. Gotta go to bed and nap for a few hours =) Happy September everyone!
Love the gradient of the butterflies. Such a simple layout but it is sooooo beautiful. (:
