Happy Belated NSD!

huh? What's NSD? My husband asked that... It's NAtional Scrapbooking Day. I didn't get to craft all day long or attending a crop but I got to scrap an LO after 2 months =) I know I know, my 12x12 papers miss me loads...

Love this cheeky NSD greeting from Studio Calico

My 1st Crappy card for Ethan when he was having a bad day at work.
just a super simple card that I spent only 10 mins doing it. I hope it makes his day =)

Then I started working on my 1st Layout after started my new job....
...
Started with a piece of 12x12 white card stock, Mister Huey 'Boss Lady' & 'Cameo', '&' mask.

After misting, I just air dry it while look for other pattern papers and embellishment to go with it. You can definitely dry it using a heat gun if you are impatient.
I cut out a few strips of scraps from my stash.
...
..
Sticking down the border and embellies....
Ta dah!

This layout featuring a photo that we took yesterday at The Legend Club. My first attempt using Mister Huey & mask. And I sort of scrap lifting Marcy Penner's way of doing her border. Just anyhow cut a few strips n stick it down. I like how she always add stitching on her layout.
I will get my sewing machine & typewriter real soon when my brother visit me in Singapore next round.

just used some Dear Lizzy stickers as embellies... trying to keep it as simple as possible.

Aha... you will never go wrong with flowers and butterflies for lovey-dovey layout ;)

So what have you done during NSD? share with me please?
Have fun & enjoy your weekend! I am off to make 3 more cards for my friends now =)
