I have just received my Amy Tangerine Signature Series few days ago. And boy, this book is awesome and full of inspiring projects! Been recommending this book to all my scrapper friends. I love the way Amy T works with her titles, stitching, memorabilia and papers.
So here's one of the layout inspired by / scraplifted from her book:
Love love working with grid layout and take my time to embellish each and every little window. Using all the goodies I have from Yes, Please collection. Loving the pastel color and muted watercolors effect. Too pretty and I was this-close to hoard these pretty papers and not use them!
A few elements that I scraplifted from Amy T's book:
1) The ombre / rainbow misted background
2) the masking technique to make a grid layout
3) Handwritten title (the word CRAFTY is from AC Thickers while I wrote the word 'goodness' with Uniball white gel pen)
Details of some of the little grid boxes:
randomly placed Thickes in one of the cut-out window as they are falling off the sticker sheet and I urgently need to find a way to use them up. Using Thickers as background is one of the BEST way to use up your Thickers stash!
Super love the quotes from AmyT roller stamp. The handle of the stamp is a very very pretty hot pink color! You just gotta check it out!
One of the crafty quote I found from Pinterest
My title: combination of Thickers & my handwriting
Whoops this photo is out of focus but I just need to show you these pretty glitter stickles
Punched out the little hearts from all the papers and make it a rainbow banners. And adding stickles is a must!
Love this quote too!
Okie dokie, that's all for this quick & simple layout. I just slept for 5 hours after being too excited getting 4 embellishment grab bags from Studio Calico Last Call. Gotta go back to bed now. Thanks for looking and I hope you would leave me some comments so that I could visit your blogs too. XoXo.
