Planners | Trick or Treat?
Hello lovelies! I haven't been keeping up with my blogging schedule again. My much needed one-week break was great - spending time with family, catching up with back logs. Just wish I had more time to craft and scrapbook a little. Last few days were a little crazy as Ivan was having mild fevers and weird rashes after his vaccination. Otherwise, we had fun re-organising his wardrobe, play corner and also bedroom.
Today is Halloween so I decided to switch to my Filofax Original Fluoro Orange. I got this orange Filofax some time ago but it seems I just couldn't bond with Filofax Original anymore. I have switch to my Macaron planner, Filofax Finchley and also Kate Spade. I think I have sort of reached planner peace, (but not insert peace), buying planners is just an urge but I don't normally use my new planners.
Anyway, just a quick post to show you my new set of dashboard and divider using the McDonald's x Hello Kitty boxes that I have gotten a few years ago.
And here's the halloween themed dividers and dashboard that I made using the box. I think the true colour of the Fluoro Orange is soooo difficult to be captured by my iPhone.
Here's the dashboard using the window side of the box. It feels a little like transparent flyer to hold some of my sticky memos.
I trimmed the back of the box to the size of personal sized dashboard. And cut the Hello Kitty red bow as the page tab. It seems the colour combination purple and orange has sort of grow on me ;)
I even use the the side of the box to make a ruler / page marker. Sneak sneak : I can't wait to start using my Cocoa Daisy Day Planner in November too!
I hope you have a great weekend ahead! Xo!

Hope your lil' one is doing better now. I think those HK boxes are so cute. I didn't collect them 'cos I hardly eat McD's but I love how you reused the boxes. I've been doing something similar. Using bits of greeting cards and old cardboard stuff here and there. I think it's really fun to recycle some of these things and I would never have thought of doing it if not for my recent planner love :-)
ReplyDeleteAw these are so cute! I've been trying to keep an eye out for anything that would even remotely fit into my planner, but it hasn't worked out well. Yours, however, is just perfect! The purple and orange match fabulously (and I love love love orange), AND its Hello Kitty to boot! :D
