Video⎪Watercoloring With Peerless Watercolor

Hello lovelies, after much procrastinating, I made another video of me doing water colouring. The big yellow iPhone clips that I have posted here makes taking video with my tiny point-and-shoot / iPhone 5 so much easier. I didn't have to deal with the tripod legs that are in my way because I don't have a big enough table to spread the tripod as wide as I would like to.

I am a total noob in iMovie, so I  spent about 1.5 hours editing this and another 5 hours exporting + uploading this to my YouTube channel. It took me 6 trials of uploading to get it right, its either, my channel is not verified so I can't upload videos more than 15 minutes or my file size is more than 2GB. And once I have sorted the length of the movie and file size, iMovie shoed I have successfully uploaded the movie, but there is no where to be seen on my channel! Why why why??? And finally I have sorted out the issues. This will not stop me from making more videos, I promise. ;) I have 2 more videos waiting to be processed and upload. Soon, very soon, I promise alright?

Here's the close up of the water-colour image: I am not an art student, so don't judge me LOL. I am using these images for a set of planner dividers because one of the girl requested a set of cute animals + mason jars themed for her Kate Spade Wellesley Zip-around. I couldn't say no to mason jars and cute animals right?

❤ Papers - I used American Crafts Smooth white card stock (80lbs, if I am not wrong). I didn't use any water-colour paper here.

Key To My Heart

I remember watching this amazing videos from 2peas a while back and I love the rosette layout by Shanon Tidwell. I love these series of tutorial by Shanon as it really inspires me to use more of my hardly-ever-reach tools. I am a tools junkie & scrapoholic (shoppaholic when it comes to any scrapbooking items). I love trying out lots of new tools and I have so many things in my endless wish list.

I made this layout because I was in rosette-making madness. Couldn't decide to use the pink / teal side of the Pink Paislee paper, so I just cut it into half and use both! I'm so brilliant! =P This layout is basically inspired by the Kaisercraft stamps and thus the title of the LO. 

Love the picture in this LO although it's kinda out of focus. It was taken in Penang on 10.10.2010. I only realized the date was triple 10s when I checked my Aperture library. 

Added some KI Memories Hot Date tape on the photo. It's superb and looks like i have printed some random 'I-Love-You' quotes on the photo.

Completed the title with a keyhole embellishment & key stamp

Spotted the cute bottle caps? It was collected by my alcoholic husband. Never failed to bring home some after his outing with buddies  

I realized this LO is perfect for MWL Scrap This & That #7 by Esther a day after I finished the LO. This challenge is to create a 12x12 layout using at least a stamp & washi tapes. Oh my, how could I resist not using washi tapes in my projects? They're so perfect for layering and adding textures. The challenge ends on 20 February 2012,  do visit the forum for more info & play along with the challenge.

It's Valentine's Day and what could be a better time to let your dear ones know that you love them. I have whipped up some cards using my Kaiser Paper pads, Lawn Fawn stamps, Kaiser Stamp & stickles! Who doesn't love adding a lil' bit of stickles on handmade card here 'n' there?

I bought this KaiserCraft Tiny Woods stamps  yesterday and decided to use the bunny for my cards. I want to see how many cards I can come up with by just using one stamp. I eventually made 3 cards just using this funny bunny. Can't wait to make more cards using the owl, deer & love squirrels.

Card 2: Some bunnies say: Hopping By To Say HELLO!!

Card 3: It says: Some BUNNY loves you

Card 4: Some bunny says: You're My Hunny Bunny

Card 5: Be Unique. For a special friend of mine that wear spectacles. 

This card is inspired by a card I saw from Lawn Fawn Flickr Friday. 

Wonder how I stamped the mirror-imaged of the bunny? Check out this awesome video by Lawn Fawn's DT - Chari. 

It's very difficult to stamp the mirror-image as my hands are shaky when I try harder. After more than 10 attempts, I finally get one bunny without much smudges.

Just a random note: 

While I was looking through my stash to gather supplies for making valentine's cards, I thought I have purchased this cute 6x6 DoodleBug Paper Pad a while ago. I just couldn't find it. Was it De'javu that I thought I have bought it (in actual fact I didn't) or I have just misplaced it somewhere? When I attended my first scrapbook class, Merdrey said you aren't considered as a scrapbooker if you never misplaced your scissors and kept searching for it high & low. How true is that?
