My scrappy bestie - Cheryl wanted a bloghop for this matchbook mini because we both made an album with those photos of hers came visiting me in Singapore. I thought it's kinda fun to do a mini blog hop, from my blog to hers or vice versa. Do check her matchbook mini out here.

I finally decided to take photos of my another mini album and post it my blog. Again, since this is a blogpost about my album there will be a lot of photos ;) I am sure some of my Instagram friends have seen me posted the cover of this album 2 weeks ago. The basic foundation of making this mini is very similar to the previous Matchbook mini that I slot into my Project Life album.
The title of the album: When 2 Scrappers Meet is scraplifted from Cheryl. She has also made a mini album of the same size using the same photos. Will keep you posted when she has uploaded hers so that you can see her version too. Her mini albums are always inspiring and lovely.
Embellishing the cover with stuff I got from Studio Calico Embellies grab bag. It was a really good deal at USD5 with a few thickers, veneers, ribbons, twine and random embellies.
Now that you could see this mini isn't quite a mini. It measures at 6' x 12'. I just fold the patter paper into half. Easy Peasy!
p/s: The mini butterflies that are tied to the twine are upcycled from my old ear rings. They just matched the glitter alphas and butterflies perfectly.
This is how the album looks like when open it up. I didn't bother to decorate / embellish the back. I added two stripes of washi tape to the edge (on the left here) to make the cover slightly sturdier.
Page 1: A lot of odd-sized & random pages in this album. I even added my beloved Hambly Screenprint on the right that I have been hoarding for the longest period.
Close up: love using journaling tabs & stickers from October afternoon to add details like date & location to the photos.
Close up: Geo tag - Singapore. Because this album is all about Cheryl came to Singapore visiting me. I suspect she is the main culprit that caused me bed-rest for 2 weeks =P
Page 2: Added Vellum from Studio Calico Sundrifter collection.
Close up: Love the layered stickers from Basic Grey Paper Cottage. Very apt for scrapping projects about friendship & girlies.
Close up: Pink stripey vellum = Max Love ❤❤❤
