Project Life⎪Week 28 - I Love Vellum

Hello there, I just realized I have not been very consistent in uploading my layouts to my online gallery and blog. I really need to spend more time on my Mac doing all these (including leaving comments of others' blog). Leaving comment (especially when typing word verification) is kinda tedious when I am using phone.

I completed this simple spread using mostly products from Elle's Studio Project Life kit. Love love their kit with bright. cheerful colors. Love this simple (as I didn't go crazy with layering) and airy spread with tonnes of vellum here. I keep this weekly spread as simple as I could as i made this when I was having fever due to mastitis. yucks  >_<

PL Week 28 - Elles Studio-1

Left page: I didn't put down the number of the week in this spread. I only use Zebra Mildliner (pastel color highlighters) to highlight the date for this week. And the photo of my son wearing a blue shower cap never failed to crack me up. LOL (printed vellum from Studio Calico, so apt!)

PL Week 28 - Elles Studio-2

Right Page: Just stamping the date, a tiny bit of journalling and tiny alpha stickers and called it done.

I am gonna show you how I use vellums here:
1. I stitched the vellum pockers with metallic thread (go slow as the thread break easily) and added some sequins, wood veneer into the pocket. So fun!

I heat embossed 'Instalove' stamp on the vellum. Be careful when you use heat gun on vellum as they warp easily.

2. Vellum labels - Perfect for layering without adding bulk

3. Print labels and tags on vellum. The circle die cut (INSTAbliss - showed above & Camera - showed below) are printed on vellum using my photo printer.

That's it for today. Try printing on vellum and it is really fun! Thanks for looking. XoXo.
