Mini Album⎪First Family Trip

I did plan my January quite well - as in I didn't have to rush for my assignments after creating like 8 −10 CHA projects for Prima Marketing booth in December. That was MADNESS! Papers, flowers, paints, boxes were all over the floor. Since I have a some extra time (actually I DON', I am just being a big fat procrastinator who doesn't want to clean up my scrap room), I made a mini album for our very FIRST family trip after watching Wilna's video on Two Peas.

The cover and back pages are done by mod-podging vintage book papers to 2 pieces of chipboard. Then I added some water colour to the book papers.

I used a lot of Chic Tags goodies (some are even freebies from their website!), Crate Paper and American Crafts. Most of these are from my DEcember Daily kits that I am going to put away since my December Daily was a total failure. So I tried using some not so christmassy items to these album to reduce my guilt for not doing Christmas album =P

Loving the heart stencils from Heidi Swapp, and I could see myself keep using it over and over again!

This two pages are full of Chic Tags goodies. The journalling card on the left page is a free printable while those journalling cards on the right are from their christmas collection. I cover those christmas sentiments up and they are just perfect here. HEhehe.. .guess I should make more stash-busting mini albums whenever I have time!

Some of the close up of the pages: I photo this album indoor with super yellowish lighting, no matter how much I photo editing them, the colour just never turn out right =(

And here;s my favourite part of the mini album - Calligraphy stickers by my sweet friend - April Joy . SHe has the most amazing handwriting and she was super sweet to make me a number of calligraphy stickers with Ivan's name and some baby's milestone. Check out her shop here!
