A Fruitful Week

It's been a crazy + busy + messy week this week.
Crazy: Crazy with trainings & zillions of e-modules for financial products to be completed.
Busy: I had 2 exam this week and yay! I was super lucky to pass both exams.
Messy: It's a happy mail week. I have finally received my Paper Smooches stamps sets from US after waiting for 2 weeks. I was so worried that the stamps might get lost in the mail or end up in another country =P And my coffee table (cum scrapping table) is in a big mess. Scraps, stamps, inks, papers were all over the place and I hate scrapping on a messy table!

More exams mean I barely have time for  my scrapping therapy. I only managed to squeeze in some odd times to complete 3 CAS (Clean & Simple design) cards for hubby & friends. I am praying real hard my job will not be too demanding and take up much of my scrapping time in the future.

 ❤  ❤  ❤ from Ethan.
Having macaroons brighten up my day. I was down for fever for almost 3 days. >_< Why do I fall sick easily?
p.s.: My macaroons are not those happy pastel colors like pink, green and purple because I picked all the chocolate & caramel flavor. That's why all the macaroons are either in brown or beige color. But they are super Yummy!

I fall in love with this Paper Smooches Zoo Crew stamps right away when I saw the Hippo & Giraffe. It's funny but there was time when I can never differentiate a kangaroo & a giraffe. Call me nuts!

I have to confess... I have a thing for bee. This is from Paper Smooches Giddy Bugs set.Another CAS card for Ethan. him to bits. Must make a card for him after he has paid for my sky-high scrapbooking bills right?
Oh by the way, the picture for this card was taking outdoor thus the super nice color! I don't even have to push up the ISO and natural lighting is so perfect that I don't have to do any photoshopping / touching-up. I think I will definitely take more pictures of my project under natural light in the future.

Putting my brand new Paper Smooches Vegtastic stamp to good use. I am entering this card for CAS-ual Fridays : CFC45 The Bold & The Beautiful. Added the black frame as I feel something is missing after this card is completed. Hope the pastel background & ribbon + black frame do qualify for this challenge.

Do click here to find out more on their fun weekly challenge & their DT call too!

This Ketchup card is for my bestie - Lynn. It's been a while since we ketchup. I miss her dearly! I am gonna post this to her office tomorrow & I hope this surprise card would make her day when she receives it. And ya... the crochet tomato is going with the ketchup card too. The tomato looked like it was sitting on the flying carpet in the mail! hahaha =) Who doesn't love the checkered tomatoes?

Thanks for looking & have a great week ahead!

For My Bestie & A Punny Card

I am gonna share 3 cards in this post. After making a few layouts and having terrible backache, I decided to make some cards instead. Making cards are less time consuming and it's definitely easier to whip up a stack of cards in 1~2 hours if you are a fast scrapper. But this is not the case for me. I normally take an hour or two to finish a very simple card. Maybe it's just me, I am slow but truly enjoying the process.

Card 1: For my bestie, Mely (whom I nicknamed her Smelly Melly)
This card is made using Card Positioning Systems sketch #254. This is my second time making a card by following a sketch, I guess it really made the card-making process much easier too.

This is the sketch and please click here to view the awesome submissions by the DT & scrappers around the world.

The Card says: You are the best FRIEND anyone could possibly have (Using My Mind's Eye - Miss Caroline stamp set)
but Ethan read is as: You are FRIEND... and he's stuck there. hahaha

I decorated inside of the card too. Love those cute birds.

Card 2: A Punny Birthday Card
This card id inspired by Cas-ual Fridays Challenge: Jest For The Pun Of It. I am a tad too late to play along with challenge but I still had a lot of fun putting this card together.

The ice cream says: U don't look old, just a little melted. This card is inspired by a card that I found via Google image but I couldn't find the link now.

Can't help taking another picture of this cute punny card. The ice cream doesn't look like it's melted here, it just looks a tad sweaty to me >_<

I dolled-up inside of the card too! Just in case the recipient didn't get my punny joke that this is a Birthday card.

*Both Card 1 & 2 are made using Artful Delight's February scrapbook kit.

Card 3: A Robot card for Daddy
It was my dad's birthday on last Saturday and I made him a robot birthday card. Why? I have a super geeky daddy who loves all the latest smart phones, tablets, gadgets etc... He even has a range of remote control cars and helicopter. How cool is my beloved daddy =)

Beep...Beep... You've received a card.
I use KaiserKraft 'On The Move' paper pads & Technologic Clear Stamps for this card. My favorite part of the card would be the Glitter Stickles speech bubbles. Love how glittery it has turned out!

BEeep...Happy Birthday to you!
The barcode stamp actually says : Boys will be boys.I just noticed that after I've stamped it on the card but I guess it is kinda applicable here. My dad is actually a 'big boy' who refuses to grow up and enjoys playing toys (remote control cars and all the gadgets). I think he quite likes the card after we've written some birthday wishes in Mandarin inside of the card, and guess what? He couldn't read mandarin at all.

Thanks for looking. Do leave me a comment so that I could return visit to your blog too! XoXo.
