Scooting By To Say Thank You

As promised, I am here to share some of the mini albums I made for my colleagues as farewell gift before I left the company. I made this back in June /  July and just found these pictures in my Aperture album. This is an album for a male colleague, thus more blue and green used here.

I super love the cover of the minis. Misted the white cardstock with blue & green Mister Huey and used them to color the scooter too. Love how well it turn out like water coloring effect.  

The pages were from Studio Calico July Kit, I think ;) If you noticed, I have been using the Hello speech bubble stamps everywhere.

This picture never failed to made me giggle every time. Tone down the yellow background with super thick white acrylic paint and stamp with Black Staz-on. I jokingly told my colleagues that if this picture paired up with Paper Smooches 'Get Outta Town' sentiments - 'Go To Your Happy Place', this is gonna looks like obituaries.

&Made Love

It's been a while since I posted the mini albums that I have made. Making minis are never my forte as the thought of start making an album is always intimidating. I normally make mini albums as birthday gift or farewell gift as there are just too many pictures to be included in a layout.

All the photos used in the album were taken @ &made by Bruno Menard, a Michelin-starred chef. It is located just next to my previous office and we normally drop by for lunch during our payday. Food is simply awesome that I wanna go back again & again although I am never a fans of burgers. I absolutely love their range of desserts.

I made this album for one of my colleague before I left the company. Mainly using October Afternoon Cakewalk, Pretty Little Studios embellies, Studio Calico stamp sets and lots of washi tapes. I love the restaurant menu so much and I used it as the base of some of the pages. The whole album is mainly colorful papers + kraft colored menu. 

Silly photos of us. Too many pics for one layout. Thats the reason I started making this minis. 

Bits of stamp image were placed randomly. all over the album.

Love the quote EAT/DRINK/BE MERRY. This quote will never go wrong when it comes to food-themed album / layout.

There Goes My July

This is my top top FAVE layout among all the layouts and minis I created using the Studio Calico July Kit. This dark color pattern paper is something that I would skip if I have seen it in the scrapbook store. But being very very determined to try using up every piece of paper, button, embellies, I pushed myself to create a layout using this paper from Authentique.

A lot of layering been done here using all the leftover scraps as this is one of the last layout created with the kit. Can't help but keep adding embellishments as I do not wanna keep hoarding on the embellies. New CHA products are here and seriously there is no point hoarding on the 'old stuff' while I keep buying & buying!

Been having so much fun with 8.5' x 11' layout recently. I could create a layout under 2 hours, fully embellished with this compact size page. I love being a productive scrapper as I have so many pictures waiting to be put on a layout / album.

This is  another layout dedicated for our Bintan Trip. This is actually the very first layout I created using July kit. So I actually posted my 1st & last layout using July Kit here. I have been addicted to stamping and punching recently. Love adding stamps as embellies on the layout. 

Those are real sea shells but I didn't get them from Bintan. Another friend of mine bought it from Redang Islands for me. Hahahaha.

For My Girlies

I created 3 different project using the same picture that I took with my girlies during lunch break. Loving this picture that we took while trying out heels / shoes.

1) S-S-J (The 3 of Us - Sheena, Sam & Jaclyn)

I knew I gotta make good use of this alpha paper when I received the kit. I cut out the initials of our names and added some twines + vellum for extra texture. Very very simple layout with a small picture. Added the die-cut hexagons as hexagon is the new black in scrapbooking recently. There are so many hexagons in the recent Studio Calico kits.

 2) OMG - Farewell Album for Sheena

 

Used mainly October Afternoon 9-to-5 papers here. And can't help stamping a lot of hexagons using my new Summer Stamp School stamp. 

This page has similar sketch to the first layout that I posted. Photo, hexagon and twines.

I found the high heels chipboard in the 9-to-5 miscellany and matches so well with the photo. I am so glad that Sheena love this farewell album that I made for her <3

3) A card with photo - For Jaclyn

The card / mini layout is currently on Jaclyn's office desk now.

Similar layout but I just flipped the sketch over.

I wrote some hidden message under the Hambly Screenprints. *hush hush* Things that aren't supposed to let you bosses know =P

Now that I'm hooked to create more mini albums / 8.5 x 11 layout! Will definitely share more of my work here whenever I have time. XoXo!
