What can you do with Happie Scrappie Planner Kit Goodies

¡Hola! Aquí María de nuevo, con un poco de inspiración (¡espero!).

Este mes de Julio ha sido Maravilloso para mi, ¡¡¡soy amante de los zorros y otros animales!!! Así que he podido hacer un montón de cosas que espero os gusten tanto como a mi.

Hello! Here Maria again, with a little inspiration (I hope!).

This July has been wonderful for me, I'm loving foxes and other animals !!! So I could do a lot of things I hope you like them as much as I do.

Durante el mes de Agosto tengo vacaciones, así que en lugar de planificar mi día a día como hago normalmente, he podido “jugar” con las cosas que tengo y las que quiero hacer, pero sin horarios! Así lo he plasmado en mi agenda A5. Me lo he pasado muy bien dibujando, estampando y poniendo pegatinas de todos los kits anteriores y de este mes, ¡claro! ¿Os habíais fijado lo bien que combinan entre sí, todas las pegatinas aunque sean de meses diferentes? ¡Me encantan! (Sam, quiero más! ;) )

During the month of August I have vacation from work, so instead of planning my day as I normally do, I "played" with the things that I have and I wanted to do, but no schedule at all! So I started with some doodling, stamping and pasting the stickers on my A5 planner with previous months' leftover goodies and this month's goodies from the planner kits. Do you see how well they combined together, with all the stickers are from different months? I love this! (Sam, I want more;))

Además, para las tareas que sí tengo que hacer a diario, o recordatorios, he usado mi agenda “personal Size” (A6) aunque me gusta el resultado, no ha sido tan divertido como la anterior…

In addition, for tasks that I have to do on a daily basis, or reminders, I used my "Personal Size" (A6) planner, I like the result, but the A5 was definitely cuter...

Con mi “insert “para fauxdori he estado jugando con sellos, pinturas de colores, washis…. Un poco de todo, ¡Y con mis sellos hechos a mano claro! Aún me sigue sorprendiendo la buenísima calidad del papel de los insert (fauxdori y demás) son los mejores, verdad?

With my fauxdori inserts, I've been decorating the inserts with stamps, colored paints, washis .... A bit of everything, and with my hand made stamps, of course! The quality of the inserts is really amazing. They are made of very good paper quality. Don't you think the quality is one of the best?

Con mis die cuts de zorro he hecho varias cosas, marca páginas y “washi sample” (Que nunca falte el washi) Para ello no he tenido más que pasar por la laminadora (plastificadora) y cortar a la medida que yo quería.

With my fox journaling cards, I've done several things such as bookmarks and "washi sample holder" (so that I will always have enough washi). I just need a laminator to laminate the fox journaling cards and cut to the size I needed.

Con dos de las cabezas de zorro quise ir más allá y hacerme mi propio clip, así que puse las cabezas enfrentadas y las pasé por la laminadora también. Luego recorté alrededor dejando un poquito de margen y doblé por la mitad. Puse unos imanes (muy finos) por dentro y voilà, ya estaba listo! De verdad que el resultado me encanta! No crees? (los imanes son de la marca “Basic Grey” seguro que en tu ciudad puedes encontrar algo parecido en tu tienda de manualidades) también hay rollos de washi que en realidad son un imán, o puedes reciclar un imán de publicidad, hay muchas posibilidades. With two pieces of Fox Journaling Cards, I wanted to go further and made my own magnetic clip, so I put the heads facing each other and I put them through the laminator. Next, I cut around leaving a bit of margin and folded the plastic in half. I put some magnet (very fine one) in between and voila, it was done! I really love the result! What do you think? 
(You can find the magnet or something similar in your craft store) there are also rolls of magnetic tape or you can recycle a advertisement on magnet, there are so many possibilities. You can watch the video here:

Con los dashboard de este mes, (¿cuál te gusta más? , ¿puedes elegir uno sólo? ¡¡Yo no!! Así que tuve que pedir dos unidades de cada…) he hecho de todo, sobres para guardar tickets y pegatinas, separadores para la agenda, y por supuesto, ¡mandar cartas a amigas! ¿Haces happy mail? ¡Deberías! Es genial abrir el buzón y encontrar un detalle de una amiga. <3

El sobre de zorro también lo he laminado, primero lo doblé para que fuese sobre y después lo plastifiqué. Con cuidado corté la zona donde lleva el “bolsillo” aún no he decidido si le haré agujeros para poner en la agenda…

With the dashboard of this month, (Which one do you like the most?, I love all of them, So I decided to order extra two pieces for every creature) I used the dashboard for multiple purposes such as made it into envelopes to keep tickets and stickers, dashboards for the planner, and of course, sent letters to friends! Do you send happy mail? You should! I love the feeling of opening the mail box and receiving happy mails from my friends. <3

I folded the fox dashboard into a letter and laminated it. Then I carefully cut the space in between the fox stomach and the mail so that I have the space to put stickers, tickets, etc. This is to serve as a pocket. Though, I have not decided whether I will make holes to put on the planner or not ...

También llevaba tiempo necesitando un muestrario de mis tintas, ¡tengo demasiadas! Así que corté cartulina y me hice mi propio muestrario. Decoré la portada con una de las cabezas de zorro también, ¡me parece perfecto! De un vistazo puedo ver los colores de las tintas y no volverme loca buscando la que quiero.

Since I have so many ink pads, I decided to do swatches of my ink pads. I cut the cardstocks and made them into a binding book (tiny one). Next step, I pasted one of the fox journal cards to serve as decoration purpose on the cover page of the ink sample book. This is perfect for people who have too many ink pads and having difficulty deciding which color to use.

También quiero aprender a usar mejor mis acuarelas y para ello, me hice mi propio cuaderno con papel de acuarela y un dashboard de búho de portada. Corté las hojas de acuarela con la misma forma, ¿no es genial? ¡Yo estoy encantada con el resultado!

I also wanted to learn how to use my watercolors (best) and for that, I made my own notebook with watercolor papers and owl dashboard to serve as a cover. I cut the sheets of watercolor papers matching the shape from the owl dashboard, isn't this cute? I am delighted with the result!

Y por último, también plastifiqué uno de los dashboard de búho y lo pegué en un marco de foto vacío, ahora lo utilizo de “pizarra” para apuntarme cosas que quiero hacer, ideas, frases inspiradoras… lo que quiera! Sólo tengo que limpiar con una toallita de bebé y puedo escribir de nuevo.

And finally, I laminated the owl dashboard and put it in a picture frame. I use this "owl board" to take note of things I want to do, to write ideas, to write inspiring quotes and other things. All I need to do to remove the writing, just to clean it with baby wipes and I can write on it again.

Soy María, soy española, y vivo en Madrid, si me seguís por instagram (@mariacgbc), ya sabréis que adoro las cosas bonitas y en especial las que crea Sam, además de los sellos claro!

Estoy encantada de poder compartir un poquito de mi proceso creativo, por si os sirve de inspiración, o si os da alguna idea para vuestras agendas, o lo que sea!

En estos momentos estoy usando varias agendas, de distintos tamaños, pero para cosas distintas también! 

Good morning to all!

Here Maria, I am Spanish, and I live in Madrid, if you follow me on instagram (@mariacgbc), you will know that I love beautiful things and especially Sam’s creations, along with the stamps!

I am delighted to share a bit of my creative processes, to inspire you, or to give you ideas for your planners.

Right now I am using various planners, in different sizes, but for different purposes too!

En España no es muy común tener tantas, y eso que yo tengo muy pocas comparado con lo que he visto por la red!

A diario uso una agenda (personal size) por la comodidad de llevarla encima, el tamaño me parece perfecto! Además de las tareas que tengo que hacer, la uso como recordatorio de qué he hecho, para luego hacer mi project life, que no llevo muy al día… me pasa sólo a mi?

Para tener en mi escritorio, uso una agenda A5, y para dibujar, hacer un poco de mix media y experimentar uso mi happiedori, que por cierto, adoro!

Antes de hacer nada, veo con qué cosas voy a “jugar” ese día

In Spain it is not very common to have many planner supplies, and I have very little of those compared to what we have seen over the internet!

For daily usage, I picked a personal size planner due to the size which makes it convenience to bring it everywhere! In addition to the tasks I have to do (that I write in my planner), I use it as a reminder of what I have done (journaling), and then do my project life, but I do not keep myself up to date with it ... It just happen to me I guess?

For on the desk planner, I use an A5 planner. And for drawing, creating some mix media, and testing purposes, I use my happiedori, which BTW, I love it so much!

Before doing anything, usually I will look at my planners supplies that I will "play with" for that day.

Esta semana he decidido estampar estas banderolas para marcar los días (en los colores del arcoíris, por supuesto!) he apuntado las cosas que tengo que hacer esta semana (en casa y en el trabajo) y he usado pegatinas para decorar, todavía pondré más, hasta que acabe la semana….

This week I decided to stamp these banners stamps to mark the days (in the colors of the rainbow, of course!) I have listed the things that I have to do this week (at home and at work) and I used stickers to decorate the inserts. I added more stickers until the end of the week ....

(I decided to use A5 inserts from May planner kit "hot air balloons theme")

Y en la parte derecha de la agenda puedo apuntar cosas que tengo que hacer, marcadas con pegatinas que vienen en el kit, pero no hay un día concreto para hacerlas, (sólo tengo que no olvidarme!) (esta idea es de mi compañera Wan @wansplansandexplorations) y otras pegatinas para decorar, porque me gusta! También he añadido la lista de la compra, así, el día que vaya, sólo tengo que despegarla y no olvidaré nada necesario!

And on the right side of the planner, I listed down things that I have to do, labeled them with the stickers that come in the kit, but no specific day for them, (this is to ensure I do not forget about the lists) (This idea is inspired by Wan @wansplansandexplorations) and I put more stickers to decorate, because I love them! I also added the shopping list, so when I need to go shopping, all I have to do is just peel it off. This is just making sure that I will not miss anything.

Como veis, también me gusta decorar con sellos y dibujos, y para eso las hojas de Sam son PERFECTAS! Os gusta estampar? A mi me encanta! Pero por desgracia, las agendas que he tenido hasta ahora no me permitían hacerlo tanto como quiero porque se ve el estampado por el otro lado…. Ahora soy libre de hacerlo tantas veces como quiera, oh yeah!

As you can see, I also like to decorate with stamps and drawings, and Sam’s papers are PERFECT! Do you like stamping? I love it! Unfortunately, the planners that I have had so far prevented me from doing as much as I wanted to do as the back of the stamped pages always showed little shadowing .... Now I'm free to do it any way I want, oh yeah!

Para la agenda que llevo encima, siempre decoro antes de empezar a usarla, creo que es porque si no lo veo bonito, no me apetece ni abrirla.

For the planner that I always carry with me, I decorated it before I start using it, I think it is because if I see it's not pretty, I do not feel like using it.

También lo llevo encima muy a menudo, para tomar notas de ideas (siempre pensando en cosas que hacer, probar o ideas en general, frases que  me gustan….) y es realmente perfecto y cómodo. Llevo varios inserts, cada uno de ellos con diferentes cosas.

I carry it very often, to take notes, to brainstorm ideas (always thinking of things to do, try, or ideas in general, phrases that I like ....) And it is really perfect and comfortable. I took several inserts, each filled with different things.

Uno para ideas en general, o cosas que tengo que consultar más adelante.

Otro para dibujar, estampar, poner washi….

One Insert for general ideas or things I need to check later.

The second insert is for drawing, stamping, washi tapes samples storage ....

Otro para tener una visión general de la semana.

Y otro que uso principalmente para hacer pruebas de mix media, acuarelas y sellos sobre todo!

The third insert is for an overview of the week.

And the last insert is mainly for mix media testing, particularly watercolors and stamps!

Habéis visto el “charm” de polo? (popsicle) está hecho copiando el dibujo del separador/dashboard de Sam, y luego he usado shrink plastic.

Have you seen the popsicle charm? It is made from shrink plastic. I was inspired by Sam's Page Marker design from June Planner kit.

How I Use Fauxdori Inserts As My Social Media Planning

Hi Happie Planners, my name is Lucy (IG: @organisedlucy). I hope all of you are having such an awesome week so far. Today I am going to show you how I use the fauxdori inserts from HappieScrappie planner kit.

Starting this week I have decided to use the fauxdori inserts as my social media planning. My goal is to regularly post two pictures everyday into the social media, i.e. Facebook and Instagram, as I have the habit of not consistently posting pictures on social media in the past few weeks due to the commitment of daily work schedules. 

To start the processes, I decided to draw a line on the fauxdori inserts to separate between "Morning" and "Night" because I will post one picture during morning and another one in the evening.

You know that I always love bright and pastel colors, so when I received my fauxdori inserts, I instantly fell in love it, as it is very colorful, pretty and cute. However I decided to add more ingredients to spice up the inserts. So I decided to add the banner stickers and mini dots stickers. I wrote the daily posting idea on the banner stickers and I used the mini dot stickers to serve as the checklist boxes. 

For the notes page, I like to decorate it with some stamping. I chose Kellie Stamps (TODAY Collection). I decided to stamp on HappieScrappie Notepad and paste it on the notes page. I love that the June kit's notepad has a watercolor background which compliment the fauxdori inserts really well. 

Lastly it won't be complete without putting some final touches on the first page. I decided to incorporate the journaling card to serve as a positive reminder and the doodled heart and banner stickers that came with the planner kit as decoration.
